Felipe Santander is a Chilean designer, specializing in custom residential architecture. He's based in Asheville, North Carolina, and his work centers on crafting spaces that honor our connection to our surroundings, with a sharp eye for modern design.

He has collaborated with some of the most recognized boutique design firms in the US and Chile. Recent projects include the new Headquarters for Blue Note Junction, the renovated Center for Craft and East Fork Pottery’s retail store, both located in downtown Asheville. Previously, he led the design department for EarthTone Builders, an award-winning modern design-build firm located in North Carolina. Felipe also works independently with clients locally and internationally, designing thoughtful, custom homes. 

Before moving to Asheville in 2015, Felipe worked as a landscape designer in San Francisco, California. There, he received his permaculture design certification, which refined his focus on ecological architecture that responds to the surrounding landscape. 

Felipe is originally from Santiago, Chile, where he got his architecture degree and he worked for the renowned architecture firm, WMR Arquitectos.
